He has been used for trail riding, arena work, and ranch-style riding, and has a smooth, comfortable walk, trot, and lope. Stitch has a nice handle with a deep stop off your seat, smooth transitions, and a responsive feel to leg and seat cues. He also rides quietly on a loose rein and can easily adapt to riders of different experience levels.

One thing that really stands out about Stitch is his great attitude. He has never offered to refuse anything we’ve asked of him and is always willing to try. Whether you ride him regularly or give him time off, he stays the same steady horse every time you saddle him up.

He has been exposed to farm equipment, road traffic, wildlife, cattle, and gunfire, and handles new situations with a calm mindset. Stitch is also very personable — the kind that meets you at the gate and enjoys attention.
